The HHS Tri-M is a chapter of the NAfME (National Association for Music Education). Tri-M is the abbreviation for Modern Music Masters, and "is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership."(Tri-M Music Honor Society Homepage Definition) So basically, it's a lot like the ever popular National Honor Society, but is focused on excellence in music, along with excellence in academics.
